This session provides a builder’s perspective on navigating today’s construction environment, from procurement and contracts through to design management, cost control, and delivery risk. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, Michael will unpack how builders assess projects, price risk and respond to current and emerging industry conditions.
Participants will gain practical insight into how delivery models are selected, why contract and design documentation matter, and where projects commonly come unstuck during construction. The session will also explore strategies developers can use to improve certainty, value, and outcomes when working with builders.
