The Young Leaders Award celebrates a stand-out young professional who is shaping the future direction of our industry.

The Employer of Choice Award recognises an organisation that is exemplary in promoting and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

This Award celebrates the delivery of affordable housing across our state, recognising projects that both demonstrate initial affordability of product, as well as the incorporation of ‘whole of life’ elements that provide sustained affordability through reduced operating costs.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Affordable Housing Award projects must be submitted by a developer.
The Residential Subdivision Award recognises excellence in the delivery of housing subdivisions which typically do not include a comprehensive range of facilities within the development itself.

Stages of masterplanned developments are not eligible to be entered in this category.
This Award celebrates exemplary masterplanned communities which include a comprehensive range of facilities including retail, community and commercial uses, in addition to residential community.

The Sustainability Award recognises those developments, properties, or initiatives which promote sustainable practices and deliver benefits for the community and environment.

This Award celebrates those development projects which cater for our seniors, including land lease communities, retirement living and aged care facilities.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Seniors’ Living Award projects must be submitted by a developer.
The Urban Renewal Award recognises those projects that have revitalised and repurposed land and/or existing buildings that was previously used for a different purpose. This Award celebrates the renewal of our existing suburbs and inner city areas.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Urban Renewal Award projects must be submitted by a developer and:
The Medium Density Award recognises residential built form (between three and five storeys in height).

The Marketing Award recognises projects which have developed and implemented innovative marketing tactics, strategies, and approaches to sell residential product and which have enjoyed significant levels of market success and acceptance.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Marketing Award projects must be submitted by a developer.
The Design Award celebrates projects which are predominantly residential (i.e. small lot housing, villas, town houses, terrace homes, row housing, apartment buildings) and demonstrate design excellence and execution.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Design Award projects must be submitted by a developer or an architect.
Architect entrants will also be required to upload written consent from the developer of the project that is the subject of the submission.
This Award recognises those small-scale, boutique residential residences, which are three storeys or less in height and consist only of townhouses, terraces or similar product.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Boutique Development Award projects must be submitted by a developer.
The Apartments (High-Rise) Award recognises those residential apartment projects which are 11 storeys or greater in height.

The Apartments (Mid-Rise) Award celebrates those residential apartments between six and 10 storeys in height inclusive.

This Award celebrates those projects which have been delivered for community use. These projects have demonstrated leadership and innovation in delivering services and/or social infrastructure, such as civic/community buildings, schools, hospitals, parks, and recreational facilities.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Social Infrastructure Award projects must be submitted by a local government, State Government agency, or a developer if their entry is a public realm project and allows for general community use.
An individual residential development alone, is not eligible for this category.
This Award recognises excellence in our retail and commercial projects.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Retail and Commercial Award projects must be submitted by a developer and:
Projects may be of any size and can include malls, shopping, public spaces and/ or buildings, education or health.
This Award recognises excellence in our industrial and business park projects.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Industrial and Business Park projects must be submitted by a developer and:
Projects may be of any size.
The Community Engagement Award recognises a project or program which has implemented unique or innovative strategies to engage authentically with the surrounding community and can demonstrate the tangible outcomes from this engagement.
The Construction Award is awarded to a project which has demonstrated construction excellence in delivering a residential, retail and/or commercial development project.
Entrants will also be required to upload written consent from the developer of the project that is the subject of the submission.
This Award recognises the contribution our professional services made to delivering development projects. It celebrates the application of innovative and problem-solving practices and initiatives to overcome project challenges.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Consultants’ Award projects must be submitted by a consultant and:
Entrants will also be required to upload written consent from the developer of the project that is the subject of the submission.
The Innovation Award celebrates technological advancements and initiatives which deliver tangible industry and/or community benefits.
Types of projects that may be entered include school/community group projects, public art, IT solutions for the property industry, or any outstanding project that has significantly contributed to the industry and the community that isn’t eligible for any other category.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Innovation Award projects can be entered by a developer or consultant to the development industry but must not be eligible to enter any other categories.
Consultant entrants will also be required to upload written consent from the developer of the project that is the subject of the submission.
The Regional Project of the Year Award celebrates the outstanding property projects delivered across regional Queensland. The Regional Project of the Year represents the ‘best of the best’ outside South East Queensland and acknowledges the unique challenges associated with delivering a property project in regional Queensland.
To be eligible for the UDIA Queensland Regional Project of the Year Award projects:
This Award represents ‘the best of the best’ from winners from across selected Award categories. This coveted Award recognises a project that changes the way we think about property and establishes a new industry benchmark.
