The Mackay Whitsunday Branch understands the important role our industry plays in boosting regional economic activity and creating liveable communities. The development industry employs 8 per cent of the region’s workforce.

As a branch we know that when our industry is doing well, our community is doing well. We are passionate advocates for our members ensuring that our region provides quality and affordable housing and development choices for our growing population. We are proud of our reputation as the expert advisors to the Mackay Regional Council and Whitsunday Regional Council and we have worked hard to develop strong relationships with local businesses, decision makers and government officers, including thorough the signing of Memorandum of Understanding to ensure regular, formal engagement with local government’s highest decision makers.
