Supply, Planning, and Environment Committee

The Supply, Planning, and Environment Committee provides strategic advice on planning frameworks, environmental policy, and land supply monitoring to support the delivery of housing, jobs, and infrastructure for Queensland’s growing population.

The committee considers local, state, and federal policy and reform proposals and contributes evidence-based recommendations that promote efficient planning processes and a balanced approach to environmental protection and development outcomes.

It also offers thought leadership on emerging supply and planning issues, supports improved land supply monitoring across government, and helps shape the Institute’s communications on key policy topics affecting the development industry.
