Seniors’ Housing Committee

The Seniors’ Housing Committee provides advice on planning and policy settings that enable the property industry to meet the growing and diverse housing needs of seniors across Queensland. 

The committee reviews relevant aspects of local planning schemes and state legislation to support the delivery of appropriate housing and care options, and contributes evidence-based responses to proposed policy and legislative changes. 

It also offers thought leadership in this space and supports the Institute’s efforts to engage members on key issues impacting seniors’ housing and residential care.
