Infrastructure and Utilities Committee

The Infrastructure and Utilities Committee provides expert advice on the planning, funding, and delivery of infrastructure critical to supporting housing and industrial development across Queensland.

The committee reviews key documents and policies related to infrastructure charges, funding schemes, and utility performance frameworks, and contributes evidence-based responses to reform proposals at all levels of government.

It also plays an active role in the Institute’s engagement with major utility providers through formal partnerships, and offers thought leadership on the systems, processes, and investment needed to enable efficient development.
