Industrial Development Committee

The Industrial Development Committee provides strategic advice on the planning, policy, and infrastructure settings needed to support the timely delivery of industrial and employment land across Queensland. 

The committee considers local, state, and federal reform proposals and contributes evidence-based recommendations that promote efficient planning processes, practical environmental policies, and the delivery of well-serviced industrial precincts. 

It also offers thought leadership on precinct planning and infrastructure coordination, and addresses emerging challenges such as land fragmentation, infrastructure constraints, and evolving logistics and technology needs.
