The Institute strongly encourages members in the Cairns Branch to attend Far North Queensland Regional Organisation of Council’s (FNQROC) industry workshop on the review of the Regional Development Manual.
The industry workshop will be held at Cairns Regional Council on Friday, March 6. Members are required to register their attendance via email.
FNQROC Regional Development Manual seeks amendment and changes to the:
- Application Procedures (AP1)
- Construction Procedures (CP1)
- Design Manual (D1-10)
- Specifications (S1-9)
- Standards Drawing for Civil
- Standard Drawing for Water and Waste
- Council Specific Documentation and Drawings.
The revised material, including all marked up standard drawings and track change procedures, can be found here.
Public Consultation will conclude on March 31. The Institute is seeking members’ feedback to include in an industry submission. Members’ feedback will be critical in the review of the very technical information available from the FNQROC.
