Mount Peter PDA Update

With Mount Peter identified as a critical future growth area for the region, the planning and infrastructure decisions being made today will play an important role in supporting Cairns’ long-term growth.

Julian Simmonds, Chief Executive Officer at Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), will provide an update on EDQ’s work in the region and the priorities shaping future growth and development.

Ruth Stokes, Chief Infrastructure and Planning Officer at EDQ, and Ken Gouldthorp, CEO at Cairns Regional Council, will then join for a panel discussion exploring the infrastructure planning and delivery required to support Cairns’ growing communities, collaboration on the PDA, and the regional economic opportunities ahead.
