The UDIA Queensland Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Ullman as its new State President.
Scott has considerable experience within the property industry and understands members’ unique needs and the challenges our industry faces. He is Frasers Property Australia’s General Manager Development Queensland, Scott commenced as a Board Member in 2019 and served as Vice President of the Institute since 2022.
Institute CEO Kirsty Chessher-Brown says Scott will be exceptional in leading the Institute to help members create world class communities for Queenslanders in a challenging time.
Immediate Past President Warwick Bible will remain on the Board and we thank him for his leadership over the past three years. During his term, Warwick provided strong guidance over the turmoil of COVID-19, oversaw the successful delivery of the Made for People initiative, and delivered many important policy outcomes for members across the state.
We would also like to acknowledge the dedication and contribution of two retiring Board Members, Stephen Harrison and Ian Murray, for their service to the Institute spanning many years. Stephen became a Director in 2013 and was State President from 2016-2018. Ian Murray became a Director in 2016 and was State President from 2018 to 2020.
Two new Board Members were also appointed at the Annual General Meeting, Jonathon Lawson from Peet Limited and Tanya Martin from Lendlease. Their expertise will be an asset to the organisation and the important work of the Institute as the industry continues to grapple with challenging conditions.
