Sunshine Coast Social and Affordable Housing

As the housing crisis worsens and the demand for social and affordable housing increases, join us on 15 October for a critical discussion on how this typology can play a vital role in addressing the challenges faced in the Sunshine Coast region.

Andrew Elvin from Coast2Bay Housing Group will offer an on-the-ground perspective on the opportunities and challenges of delivering this housing typology, and explore how industry can collaborate with key stakeholders to create mutually beneficial solutions.

Sunshine Coast Council’s Wendy Gleeson will share their efforts to facilitate affordable and diverse housing options through the Housing and Homelessness Action Plan 2023.

Joining our speakers for the panel discussion is Riye Arai-Coupe from Bluebird Property. Riye will share her experience utilising the State’s Housing Affordability Fund and its impact on Bluebird’s projects, as well as her views on how the State can further incentivise housing supply.
